Just a heads up I am noticing slow downs in some of my games with the latest SVNs then with earlier builds and since my cpu is only a intel penium dual core e2180 set to 2ghz/2.3ghz depends on if clockgen decides to kick on or not when I turn my pc on. I am getting 40-50fps for games where I use to get a constant 60fps and even higher if i accidentally turned off frame limiting and this is with FFX as well as games like Kingdom hearts COM and KH2FM+ and even FFXII as well. Even if I use the same settings I have always used there is still slow downs where there use to be none so that may help you if you use the offical 0.9.8 or some of the earlier SVNs after it.
