Been sitting here for a good 2 hours trying to install better DS4 and it just won't work, I've reset my computer, tried running it as admin.

It won't work and I don't know what to do.

AFAIK, we have no link with betterDS4 creator(s).
where did you find it ?
isn't there a support section where you did ?
