Integrated Graphics Usage Issue
#1
So I am having an interesting problem, i have searched through the forums for possible answers and have had zero luck. I am using the most recent distributed version of PCSX2 that the website offers, and I have gotten FFXII working at perfect speeds before with no issues. However, for some reason upon loading PCSX2 the program reads my integrated graphics set no matter what I do. Forcing the program with NVIDIA graphics does not work, and I have already set up a default to use the NVIDIA In every situation. What DOES work is changing my graphics plugin... Even though i use SSE41, if i switch to anything else is shows as using my GT 635... Even if i switch back to the SSE41 it will show me using the GT 635. Only upon the first opening of the program does it show me using intel 4000 blah blah blah. What is going on? Also, when the PS2 logo appears i get some slowdown, i dont remember that happening when i used to use the program, however, i may have just always used fast boots and dont remember. Who knows. I care more about the first problem.

hmm, so let me get this right, just to clarify. If you set GSDX to your nvidia card in the plugin settings it still uses your Intel graphics?

If this is the case can you set it to the nvidia card then upload a screenshot, along with an emulog.txt after trying to run a game with those new settings?

Thanks!

The PS2 bios is pretty demanding, I get some slowdown with that.

As for your other problem, no idea.

I have no idea about changing the GSDX plugin graphics preferences :/ I have changed my NVIDIA card to the default card for the computer, I am plugged in, and I saved the log that shows that my PCSX2 program only reads my NVIDIA card after changing the plugin. every time i open fresh it resets back to my Intel. If there is a way to set a preferred graphics card in the actual PCSX2 program itself then I have yet to find it.

I'm probably going to catch hell for this, but this is the only way I know how to show the log. I tried attaching a txt file to no avail.

Go to Config -> Video -> Plugin settings

Up at the top of that, change "Adapter" to your Nvidia.

I definitely don't see a setting option for "Adapter". I see "renderer, where i've picked Direct 3D 11, and under that are the normal options.
