Intel Core i5 3210M + NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M - Max Performance Configuration?

Hi everybody!

I just started using PCSX2 a few days ago on my MSI GE60 and it works pretty decent with 40-45+ in most games, with native or 2x native (some games native 3x). But shouldn't i be able to have stable 49+ fps in almost all games with my specs..?

But could you please tell me which settings/configuration i should use for max performance (49fps+) in all compatible games...?

Your specs aren't the greatest. They will run some games at full speed, but not all.

Your GPU is enough, but your CPU is gonna hold you back in a lot of games. Make sure to enable the MTVU speedhack unless the game is on this list. If you are still below full speed, first try the EE slider speedhack and then the VU cycle stealing slider speedhack. That's about the best you can do.

Also make sure your power plan is set to high performance and you are running plugged in.

Try messing with the ee cyclerate and vu cycle stealing sliders. In the sound plugin turn off effects processing.

I forgot about effects processing. That might help a tiny bit.

using that and nearest instead of catmull-rom gives me about a 5fps boost

Impressive. I would have guessed like 2-3 FPS at most. Good to know.
