Interesting display issue in KOF2000 US
#1
To clarify, a black bar shows up at the bottom after the logos are displayed, and it stays there the whole time. During the intro, the menus, the character select screen, the fighting, etc. I tried everything under the sun, but I had no success. I've seen something related to this on this forum, but I thought it was already fixed. Even the dev builds don't seem to resolve the issue. Is there anything I'm missing? I'll post some pics for clarity:

Thanks in advance!
PD: I tried with hardware and software modes, but nothing. And no, I'm not trying to use any widescreen hacks in case you are wondering. I like my games in 4:3 Smile

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

I honestly don't see anything that could be wrong, but that's just prolly me being a total noob.

Yes, but still nothing.

Those were precisely the things I was taking a look at, but I didn't manage to find anything conclusive, nothing like "this is the way to fix this"
Am I just being dumb?
EDIT: Yes, I was being dumb. Downloading one of the old plugins with CRTC rescaling from that forum thread fixed the issue. I'm kinda surprised this function isn't even featured (or if it is, not even mentioned) in the newer plugins tho.
