Bugreport:
The game itself runs perfectly fine. Some soundslowdown here and there but they get fixed by stopping and resuming the emulation.

The main problems are random hangups. They are always TLB bugs. I have found no pattern so far to trigger the bug. It just happens from time to time in all kinds of areas or menus.
If i was lucky enough to statesave a short while before it happens I can walk through the area that crashed the game fine without triggering another. Though I use memcard saves whenever possible.

Logmassages seems similar so far. Here's the latest.

vtlbDefaultPhyWrite32: 0x37C1AF8
vtlbDefaultPhyWrite64: 0x14F588
vtlbDefaultPhyWrite128: 0x14F588

(Happend in final fantasy 12 too btw. So maybe its a local problem but I've seen a post about the same ff12 crash already been posted by someone else)

I'll grab more error log's when I encounter them.

Hi,
Try to use the PCSX2 beta - compiled on July 8 2009 (Revision 1474).
I think this one should work fine without hang ups.
Different Conifgurations shouldn't effect it that much.

@ sonofliberty: thanks for the tip works fine except for one minor bug: it allways crashes when i press F1 for save states. Any solution for that?

You need to use the latest Lilypad beta for F1-F3 shortcuts to work with the beta

Well point of the bugreports is to tell em that something broke Laugh
Using older betas might help to play the game but wont help improve the emulator.

Thx anyway.

Edit: So then, the latest released beta works but 1709 vtlb misses?

Played around for a while with the old beta. No crashes. The TLB bug must have been introduced in the last ~250 commits.

Then it would be great if you could track the exact revision it broke. Use the update to revision feature of tortoiseSVN to compile older revisions. Use the binary search method to minimize the revisions you have to test to find the revision that breaks it. Meaning you start at the middle of 1709 and 1474 and move left or right depending on your findings

After lots of testing it came down to 1506-1510

The only commit that mess with ee's there is 1509.
