Invalid: [Bug Report] Radiata Stories [NTSC-U]
#1
# PCSX2 version: v0.9.8 r4600 and r4580
# CPU options: default EE recompiler microvu recompiler etc (these settings unrelated to bug being reported)
# Plugins used: GSdx 0.1.16 (hardware and software, dx 9,10,11) spu2-x 1.4.0, 1.5.0
# Description: At a certain part of game, namely handing in the smilodon fang quest the game will trigger a black screen as it should, but then get stuck. The game is not frozen however as the music is still playing and you can also pause the game still. When this scene does work there is no change in music, nor do any voices start talking so its strange an audio plugin causes this. Using a different audio plugin such as P.E.Op.S spu2 1.9.0 and it works perfectly fine.

There are no speed hacks enabled, the only game fix is the standard tri-ace game fix.

since i have a work around its not game breaking, mostly posting this to let people know of issue as I could not find any info on it when I looked.

below are some screen shots of settings and issue:

Could you post a memcard save close to that point?

Didn't hang here with default settings in both PCSX2 0.9.8 and the SPU2-X included...
You sure you used default settings?

Can anybody else reproduce the hang?

Well mr impatient, you posted at night, then post at crazy AM, its likely nobody has seen this yet, please relax.

What did you use to make your iso? If it wasnt imgburn can you try remaking it with that? If it works for some people and not others it has to be a configuration issue.

Lol, I apologise for my impatience but I don't trust another site to know what I'm talking about or how to fix it so I was admittedly anxious. As for my iso, its on my hard drive, I feel it does better when its not ran from a disc, but i could be wrong. When the problem occured, my first move was to set all the configurations to default and try it, no luck. Then I got on here to see if anyone else had the same issue, it turns out someone did and all they had to do was change the audio plugin to something different, I tried this approach as well as many others, and still no luck. Today, I think I will look to see if I still have my original copy of Radiata Stories, so that I can try to see if that will fix it. If you can find anything on this I would be thankful.

check your iso hash http://redump.org/disc/3484/ if it doesn't match any of the hash (either crc, sha or md5) then you have a bad rip.
