I just installed PCSX2 1.4.0 but I can't go further when the configuration window ask me to find the PSU2 plugin : This specific area remains blank.

So I can't enjoy the lastest release of PCSX2.  Huh

Yes, i'm running Windows XP 32 bits.  Blink

I copy the sp2-x.dll plugin from the latest 1.3.1 builds in the plugin folder, but it changes nothing.  Wacko

Is there a solution ?

Thanks for your answer.

E-Gwen.

Latest VS2013 build, not the actual latest build found on buildbot. It's 1.3.1-1415's plugin version that you need for Windows XP.
Fetch the plugin from that version and put it in your current 1.4.0 plugin folder (Rename the one that's already in there if you want to keep it, or simply overwrite it)
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

Ahh.. Thats the problem.

EIther you use the latest version where vs2013 was used as builtbot or you use the appveyor builds on github. My mobile is dying...

I hear you.

Well, I was getting an old release, the 1.3.1-1198, and, despite I didn't believe in that solution (I had tried with 1.3.1-255), I tried...

It works !!!   Laugh

Thanks for your cooperation, Ryudo, you saved my gamer's life.  Happy

I run try FIFA 2014 on my Windows XP PC in true HD.

See you.

Do you plan to upgrade to a new OS, soon ? If not, why?

upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit is done... so I am using both on Laptop and Desktop now...

you need to install vc2015 redist (x86) to avoid the crash on startup

Thx I noticed that on the buildbot site that the C++ RTE being used had been upgraded to 2015 version.

you can still get VS2013 compiled builds through Appveyor which doesn't have any issues with Windows XP. closing the issue.
