I see a few differences in your settings compared to mine. I'll try those, otherwise I have the work around that was mentioned earlier.

Well that one isn't enabled by default so try unchecking it
Heh, thanks for calling me out on that. I'm still quite noobish on PCSX2. I had spent hours last week figuring out how to get this thing running in the first place, now I'm just fiddling around with settings to refine my experience.
