Is it possible to do a "direct launch" shortcut?

Instead of manually load ISOs and then start.

A way to make a shortcut that when pressed it will immediately open the game with pcsx2.

Download PCSX2bonus

http://pcsx2.net/download/category/35-frontends.html

From it you can create shortcuts which you simply double click on.

You'll want to go with Spectabis.

PCSX2Bonus was a really awesome frontend, but the developer stopped working on it and thus it is now outdated. Spectabis is still being worked on hard today.

If you're more into doing it manually instead of using other software, here's a shameless plug to my own vid on how to do it via Steam:

You could also use something like ICE or LaunchBox

How is it outdated if it works perfectly well?

Considering the last update was years ago I do consider it outdated now. That goes for any program I use, whether it works or not. Just because I call something outdated does not mean I call it 'bad'. I basically mean it in terms of updates and whether or not the program is still being worked on.

Some stuff also never got fixed for PCSX2Bonus, such as the cover downloads from Gamefaqs getting you IP banned there. It's a minor issue, but Dexbonus was working on fixing it before he disappeared. So it never got fixed.

He's free to use whichever he want.

It doesn't though. Last I remember, it didn't support compressed ISO files. All my ISOs are gzipped so that program is automatically ruled out.

Just WHERE is the "PCSX2 data directory" for PCSX2bonus?

I already tried with documents PCSX2 folder and subfolders, and C: installation, all it says is it can't find "a required folder".

I choose the one with the bios and save states but all it says is that message.
