Is it possible to read DVDs from a networked DVD drive?
#1
I'm playing Monster Rancher 4 on a computer without a DVD drive, and I want to read DVDs to create monsters. I have a DVD drive mapped from another computer through a network, but when I configure the DVD plugin it doesn't show up, it just shows me E: which doesn't work obviously.
Is there any way or any plugin that allows this?

You can do it like this:

1. Make ISO on computer with good drive
2. Transfer to PCSX2 computer
3. Mount with normal ISO loader

or like this

1. Insert disc in computer with good drive
2. Use imgburn to make ISO on PCSX2 computer, reading from network drive
3. Mount with normal ISO loader

That's what I can think of.

May this work ?

I'm damn sure there is a more orthodox solution that will just require to edit some registry lines.. though I just couldn't find this
