I have an AMD A10-6800k with 8,0 GB of RAM. On games like Persona 3 and 4 it works perfectly, but on heavier games like MGS3, despite all of the speedhacks and frameskipping, it won't stop lagging.

It is barely reaching the recommended single threaded performance(1532/1600)for most games and MGS3 requires more powerful cpu
Speedhacks can also case negative effects or\and false fps displayed on the title screen
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM
Cheats decrypter/converter/editor and more

Did you try default setting on pcsx2, it might have some improvements.
