that mean the cpu is good enough(not so bad fr pcsx2) for pcsx2...as op mention in thire post that they able to play god of war in 2x native without any lagg and also thire processor are 3rd gen ivy bridge...it is an advantage for him to upgrade...

I thought pentium had pretty bad performance?!?!

I tried" is rather different than "most games".
On my side, most games I tried had a speedboost using ee cycle rate
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
