broken PS2? I checked the readme, and I don't have any of the cords or whatnot that seem to be required, AND my ps2 is broken (which is why I want to use this product) SO I'm wondering: Is there a way to get a bios from a broken PS2?

(sorry for the "register>question" thing, I know it's annoying, I've just been trying to get my PS2 to work for months, and now that I found a way out, I'm kinda impatient Sad )

depends how broken, if its just disc read error you can adjust the lens to buy you enough time. or the lens might just need cleaning

well, it's like this. I opened up the entire thing, thinking I could fix it (it was a mechanical problem at first) but now it doesn't really work at all. I can get it to KIND OF load up a game, it'll get to a certain part (past the PS2 logo) on any game, then freeze up. Sometimes I can get to the point of being able to try to load a game, but that's as far as I've ever gotten on it.

Is that far enough?

May be just enough. Just try it out.
