you can try frameskipping.
but you may encounter crashes

depends on the game.
If your game's NTSC, i guess you can skip 1 frame on 2
if it's PAL, it'll be something like 0.75 frame on 2

what does 1 on 2 mean
if you mean 2 frames to draw 1 to skip, that makes it look like 15 fps

that makes the first frame upon booting up the game stay painted on the screen, while the game beneath it runs at full speed.
2 on 2, or even 4 on 2 makes the game have unbearable motion blur

I've managed to fix the lag in cutscenes and when starting battles... the only lag i'm experiencing now is in certain rooms in the game. I've decided to just accept that there will always be lag with my low specs, unless i want to make the game look and play like crap. I've done all that can be done while preserving the quality of the game. should i just be happy with an accomplishment like that?

I have one last gambit:turn off auto flush in DX11 SW. I was using it because it makes the game more vivid in color, but according to the advanced hacks, it has a large impact on performance. do you think turning it off will fix it?
