Is there any work-around for issue #1160?

Hi,
just curious about this:

Is there any solution/work-around to this issue? Shadowlady and Rama recommended a skipdraw hack but after digging up some old threads, it doesn't seem to work at all.

I tried using the Gsdx from pcsx 0.94 (0.11.0). It worked fine but the speed was greatly compromised; to the point where the game was unplayable even with speed hack.

Someone mentioned in the Gsdx forum section that there is a skipdraw hack which involves a bit of coding which I have no idea how to do it Tongue2

Btw I am not sure if the solution (to remove dark texture/background) which involves modifying the Gsdx can really remove the fog wall as it is described in issue #1160.

True Tongue2 , hehe but I've tried that before with a desktop i5 processor and it wasn't exactly playable I'm afraid.
