I tried AMD overdrive and it said I didn’t have the 700 series chip set installed so it couldnt work =/ And I was reading that you can also overclock you GPU but since I don’t have any type of cooling and 99% mostly wont be able to get one I don’t think overclocking two things at once is really a good idea... If I overclocked my GPU could I get it strong enough to handle PCSX2?

actually that's not true, I could play a lot PS2 games with my x2600xt which is an 256 MByte. With the older cards if it have lower memory, the memory is 9 out of 10 cases faster then the 512 MByte f.e. I had this case couple years back with my 9000 pro. there was a 64 mb version and a 128 mb version and the 64 had faster memory (Not clockwise, but ns wise) Smile it would be too expensive for ATI to release the 128 mb card with the same memory. Nowadays there isn't a real difference though, perhaps with some budget cards there is Smile But most of the time if a graphics card has lower memory the speed in nanoseconds is mostly lower, thus faster.

This is probably one of the best you can get for under $100

Here is another good option. Slightly less powerful than the above but youll get Dx11.

Heres an nvidia alternative pretty much identical to the 4850 in performance.

The one you linked to will get the job done, although you wont be able to increase the resolution much in some games. I would recommend you atleast go for the 5670 its much better in performance, got dx11 and there is very little diffrence in price.

Just so you have all the info. The 5670 uses the same amount of power as the 4670. So you wouldnt need to upgrade you psu, if it was enough for the 4670.

But I thought that the 4670 got its power directly from the motherboard? Right?....

Well yeah but that power comes from the power supply you already have. You cant have a pc WITHOUT a psu. Just the more powerful gpus sometimes requires an additional or two power cables. The 4670 and 5670 does not.
