Is what happened to me because of a problem with pressure sensitivity in MGS3?

I am playing MGS3 in PCSX 2.0.2 on my laptop by using my PS4 controller. DS4Windows is not installed and I not running PCSX 2.0.2 in Steam.

I am using the following button config:
* square - weapon select menu
* x - cqc
* circle - cancel

Weird things have happened to me and they are:
  1. If I press and hold square with my finger to open weapon select menu then sometimes I am slightly raising my finger when it's holding the square button. When that happens the weapon select menu closes and then it instantly opens again. I think it's happening because when I raised my finger a bit then the button hold ended but the button was still down most of the way so I got another button hold so the weapon select menu opened again.
  2. I wanted to do the cqc grab by pressing x. I don't remember how I pressed x. Either I pressed it and held it for a short while or a long while or i tapped it. Snake didn't do the cqc grab and he did a double punch. I need to press x twice fast so Snake does a double punch and I didn't do that.
  3. I pressed esc to pause PCSX2 and then I left my laptop for some time. Snake was standing still when I pressed esc. I pressed circle once to close the pause menu. Snake crouched on his knee just after the pause menu closed. I tried to duplicate what happened by holding the circle button after the pause menu closed but Snake didn't crouch on his knee.

Are these happening because of the game's pressure sensitivity issues or it's a PCSX 2.0.2 issue? I am not having any problems when I play games that have native PS4 controller support and the weird things are only happening when I am playing MG3 in PCSX 2.0.2.

It's not. I am not running PCSX2 in Steam. What happened to me is because of PCSX2.

You don't need to run pxsx2 in steam. If it's running in background it can hijack your conteoller
