Issue with Japanese version of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

I'm playing the Japanese version of Ghost in the Shell and I haven't had any problems until I made it an hour or so into the game. There is a switch in the Residential Block level that will not let me interact with it to move on with the game no matter what I do. I don't know if its a problem with the game or the emulator but I'm stuck and need answers.

Intel® Core™ i7-9700KF CPU @ 3.60GHz
32GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti

Running the emulator with Direct3D 11 in Software mode with no speedhacks that apply to this game.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

This game likely needs a patch, but doesn't currently have one, I'm surprised you managed to get past the beginning of the game (if you have).

If you can make a blockdump up to and including the big door at the beginning of the game, we can probably create a patch for you.

This is the 4th level in the game so I made it far before I got stuck? The only issues I did have I found fixes via the wiki. Also, how would I create the blockdump? I'm new to all of this.

You can enable "Create blockdump" from the debug menu then start your game normally without a savestate and then load from your memory card, then play to the point where it breaks. on which note I will need to your memcard too. if you can zip/7-zip them up and upload them somewhere, that'd be great.

Try putting this pnach file in your cheats folder (C:\Users\daich\Documents\PCSX2\cheats\) then enable cheats under the PCSX2/System menu.

It might not work if you load your savestate, just so you're warned.

cool, we're adding the patch to the gamedb so newer versions will have it automatically and you won't need a cheat patch
