Hey lads and ladies,
The computer is a 15 inch 2018 Intel Macbook Pro with the below specifications:
2.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7
Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Sequoia 15.1.1
The version of PCXS2 installed is the latest stable version from the website (v2.2.0).
I am having some trouble playing Need for Speed on my Mac. From searching I can't work out if my computer has the requirements to run the game or not. The emulator boots up fine and starts the game as it should but after about 10-15 seconds of driving it lags (I am not sure if this is the correct or specific enough term for this).
The start up and menu is fine but it starts to be extremely slow and the audio does the same by cutting in and out. Unplayable. I have left the settings as default as if it is doing this on the lowest quality settings then there isn't a point in the higher settings.
I am expecting there to be no solution but to have a better computer. It would be great to have this working with higher resolution as this game is the only reason I downloaded the emulator. The PS2 doesn't look good on these large modern TV's and shelling out for a Frankenstein Fat PS3 is out of the budget at the moment.
Anyway, thanks for reading
