Because having a stand alone installer from THE PCSX2 SITE
is bad

il post my issue again because i posted EXACLLY THE ISSUE from the standalone and appertlly that was bad

My issue is this

I can run fatal frame (semi well no real complaints)

But games like Blitz the league and FFX-2 lag like crazy

What should i do i was already suggested buy and or make my own pc intel
but i already spent so much more money then i needed to do i feel.

well, clearly you didn't read the first time..

http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Whats-Fas...#pid124322

so we'll try again?

I read that and I cant do SSSE3 or 4
but yet it seems like slower then hell
and everyone recomends SSE4 because its the fastest
#4
NamcoXcapcom intro:

SSE4: tops 70
SSE2: tops 71
SSSE3: tops 73

by no means scientific, but I usedthe exact same settings on all 3 tests and watched my FPS

You asked about which was fastest, and that was answered. But that isn't what you're really trying to ask, what you're trying to ask is why some games are running slow and others aren't. PS2 emulation requires a very fast machine with recent high end processors in the 3ghz+ range with at least 3 cores (and many more won't run full speed even if you got your CPU clocked to 5ghz!)

Some games are just easier to emulate than others, and if you want to know what's causing the slow downs on your PC.

I haven't seen your PC specs (they may have been posted in another thread) but if you post them here plenty of people here could point out bits of hardware that could be improved.

Also, disable VU Cycle steal... in 95%+ scenarios it's going to cause slow downs instead of speed ups anyways.

i got quad core 3.0GHZ
6gb ram
(amd processor i know i know it sucks i was told that already)
I can run games like bioshock infinite and crysis at same time on ultra high thats how i feel my graphics and speed is

I will take pics of my specs in a bit

play with gsdx settings. I'm not doing to tell you what to play with, figure it out. You'll get full speed if you put some effort into figuring out how

Again, emulation is very CPU intensive. Most modern PC games are GPU intensive. Big difference.

Aside from overclocking and speed hacks, there isn't a whole lot else you can do. As for AMD sucking, matter of opinion. Have my 6300 at 4.4ghz and it pretty much handles about every game without issue aside from those that generally put even the top processors down Smile But yes, Intel is the undisputed king of PCSX2.
