So I have been having a lot of issues with Dynasty Warriors 5. First and foremost, the in-game videos are not working (they are very slow and the sound is distorted while playing them). I have messed with a lot of settings, but nothing seems to resolve this.
Second, sometimes the game will randomly crash without warning.
I have played Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 4 without issues, but for some reason, I am not having the same success I am with Dynasty Warriors 5 (maybe because it is a more demanding game). I have seen people posting full HD gameplay videos of Dynasty Warriors 5 without any of the above issues so I am not sure I am having such a hard time. I think my settings must be incorrect, but I have not found anyone to give me proper guidance.
Here are my specs:
Windows 10 Professional 64bit
Ryzen 7 1700x (though in the near future I may be upgrading to a Ryzen 5 3600x)
PowerColor Red Devil Vega 64
16GB of RAM

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

This did not resolve the issue, however, it created a new one: now it is not detecting my controller at all and I have not found a way to resolve this.
I also have a quick question, is there any benefit from running the game from the original PS2 discs as opposed to running an ISO? Or does that create even more issues?

depends on how you create your iso. but there should be improvements when making one

Is there a way to create an iso from the original PS2 disk? Also, what would some of the improvements be? Currently, the video issue is still happening and now it isn't recognizing my controller.

I didn't create this ISO, it was provided by a friend. Perhaps the ISO is messed up?
