Just got the game still doesn't boot even on pcsx2-WX but it seems to have the same restart issue as Star Wars Jedi Starfighter (but that one restarts after mission complete, this one looks like it restarts before it even boots).

Since the
compatibility list says it doesn't work and you already ran it in a newer PCSX2 I doubt there's much you can do, maybe change the sound plugins.

yep tried changing clamp/roundmodes and different sound/graphic plugins but still no go.
I always get this as the last few console messages:
# Restart.
# Initialize GS ...
# Initialize INTC ...
# Initialize TIMER ...
# Initialize DMAC ...
# Initialize VU1 ...
# Initialize VIF1 ...
# Initialize GIF ...
# Initialize VU0 ...
# Initialize VIF0 ...
# Initialize IPU ...
# Initialize FPU ...
# Initialize User Memory ...
# Initialize Scratch Pad ...
# Restart Done.
After this nothing happens and the GSDX frame counter doesn't even start.
Tried devel build too it says:
***** EE > Twice-thrown int on IRQ 6
and before restarting it says:
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801470 with value 0
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801472 with value 0
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801472 with value 1
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801470 with value 0
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801472 with value 0
Unknown Hardware write 16 at 1f801472 with value 1
Don't know if this will help, if not ill patiently wait for a day when it will work. Oh and sorry for the gigapost.
