Jak and Daxter - The Lost Frontier (Crashes Emulator) HELP!

Hey guys, i just started using PCSX2 0.9.6 and the first game i downloaded was Jak and Daxter - The Lost Frontier.

Firstly: i use Power ISO to mount the image.
Secondly: i go to the emulator itself. File - "Run CD/DVD".
Thirdly: i go to, and click on "CD DRIVE ( E: )", then i click on the image file.

The emulator then pops up and i get the "PCSX2 is not responding" message at the top of the window almost instantly. (Maybe not them exact words).

Ive been watching a lot of Youtube videos to see how other people have configured their emulator and ive tried it myself, but nothing works!
Can anyone help me please?? IM A NOOB TO THIS STUFF!
