Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

The Ratchet and Clank series doesn't run very well even on the best machines. The simple answer is that your machine is too weak to run the game. There's no magic fix to make a game running on weak hardware go from 50% speed to 100% speed.

and don't forget to enable mipmapping in gsdx options

Leaving it automatic is fine, unless his crc id isn't in the code.
