Justice League Heroes freezes/gets stuck

Hi,
I began playing Justice League Heroes again yesterday, since it works with v1.7.2377-windows-32bit-AVX2 nightly Build without any graphics-garbage, but I found one specific bug.
When I use Hawkgirls "Nth Degree" attack with more than 3 enemies around (where she hits her mace on the floor and creates an orange shockwave), the game freezes, but I can load savestates, change graphics setting, anything in the emulator works, but the video and audio output just stops. I use the emulator as it came, no hacks, no settings changes except 3xnative resolution. It does not happen every time, but often in bigger groups of enemies that use long range attacks(rockets, lasers, guns etc)
It happens with every gfx output mode, hardware and software.
It never happened in version 1.6.0, but sometimes there were bad graphics garbage issues, that made it impossible to play.
Any Ideas?
I will write if I find out something more specific

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I loaded savestate 7, hit once, and it froze up. Got nothing to do with the savestate, happens even without using it, just very easy to get to a place it happens

OK, pretty sure it has something to do with the animation/lighting/texture of explosions and her attack overlapping. Seems to happen most often, when the point of her attack and an explosion or flash of light overlap (so far have seen it crash only with orange or red flashes, blue seems OK). I am doing a second run through the game, I might be able to narrow it down.

PS.: I have been told her attack is greenish. Colourblindness strikes again....

No difference.

Edit: It happens if I hit her skill when a light effect overlaps with her attack/body.

Findings so far:
-Seems to happen only with groups of enemies larger than 3
-Seems only to happen at specific points of the map (either because its the point on the map or the specific enemies there I guess)
-Seems only to happen with ranged attacking enemies in the mix
-There does not have to be lighting effects like explosions on or near the character
-Happens with normal saves and savestates
-Happens with hardware and all software renderers
-Happens with and without speedhacks
-Does not happen with version 1.6.0, but with all since at least 1.7.2327
-Happens with all GFX settings@default
It happened once with another heros circular area damage/stun attack

EDIT:It happens with every hero that has an area stun effect, she just has the highest likelyhood for stun, so it happens more often with her.

Not tested:
-GFX: Hacks (since I don't have any Idea, what to try), shader or advanced
-Game fixes

Not sure if its helpful, but I can offer savestates (if you can transfer these at all, I am not sure) and memory card saves very close to one spot it happens most often. They are from SLES-54423 version.

Can you post nearest memory card save as well as savestate using latest dev build?

Dumb question, but how/where should I upload it? I have a savestate, as for the memcard save, its not as easy to reproduce the issue since you need to run around a bit to find a reliable spot.
