KH2 and framerate
#1
I've worked at setting up the emulator for Kingdom Hearts II and I've gotten results that I've been pretty happy with.
I noticed that sometimes the frame rate dips into the 30s, and other times it goes far above the 60 fps cap. I don't so much mind the increase in frame rate, but when it dips it really slows down. I wanted to know if there was a way to stabilize the frame rate at around 50- 60, but KH2 is also a pretty intensive game so it wouldn't surprise me if it was difficult on the PC.

My specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz
NVidia 9650 GT 1 GB
4 GB RAM
Windows 7 32 bit

Ideas? I played around with vsync, but to no avail.

Thank you!

Thanks for the links. I tried the latest beta and it actually helped a tremendous amount. I was just figuring since it was a beta that it would be best to await the finished release, but I guess I learned something today! Laugh
I have yet to get to any really flashy boss fights, but the FPS is significantly improved in areas where it was previously much lower.

Thanks!
