I have limited buttons on my controller, and I can't even get the ball to roll in this game

Does anyone know if it has keyboard control?

It does as long as you map your keyboard with lilypad
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
