Katamri games won't work

When I start up both Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari it works fine at first but after the namco logo shows and the opening video starts to play they suddenly freeze. It's the same for both of them. Any ideas of how I can get them running?

try enabling patches, either one should have a patch providing your version is the same region, else you're on your own for making a video skip patch, from remembering doing we love katamari the first time, it isnt easy ;p
