Keyboard Controls [RESOLVED]
#1
So, I spent all day getting my PCSX2 to work and it finally got to the PS2 start-up screen.
Now I can't get any of the keys on my laptop keyboard to do anything.
I am not experienced with any of this and don't know what any of these files and numbers mean, but I tried Config>Controllers and messed around with a few other things.

Could someone help me with this?

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place or something, and I hope I get an answer soon. I really want to play this game!!

After over a week of working at it, I finally solved all my problems.

Extra Special <33 Thanks to Shadow Lady and Bositman

How did you configure the buttons on the keyboard? Try using the Lilypad plugin if you're using something else and make sure both first and second controller plugins are the same.

Here's a screencap of my current configurations.
Hopefully this helps.

Ehr... what does the configuration of the Lilypad plugin look like? That's the most important :P

Do you mean this?

Try changing the Keyboard API to RAW or DirectInput, did you configure all buttons including the analog axis?

That's fixed now.

Thanks for the help.

Now I don't know why it's not reading my disc.
I think this error may or may not be related.

The script doesn't show any other errors.
I suppose there might be some programs I'm missing...

If it matters at all, I'm trying to play Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.

I hope youre not using CDVDnull to play your game. Because as the name says it does nothing.
Better read the CDVD configuration section of the guide: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Official-...tion-guide

Really sorry, I lost internet for a while.
But I get the feeling I'm almost there.

That guide was pretty helpful.

I downloaded EFP Iso CDVD Driver and tried configureing, but I'm kind of stuck.
It says I need am "Image File" for this spot over here.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do from here...

You are supposed to click browse and point the plugin to the iso of your game, then goto File>Run CD/DVD. Or you can leave it blank goto File>Run Iso Image and point to you iso from here.
