Certain textures aren't loading at all, for instance at the beginning of the game, when you first fight the small black things, there is no floor, only black.

Text boxes are invisible. Sorry I can't provide a screenshot.

Yeah, did. Also tried it with various plugins and resolutions, and in single-core mode. 0.9.4 runs it fine however.

I'm thinking especially of the options available in "advanced" dialog. Try to uncheck FTZ & DAZ for VU Recs. Also avoid frame skipping/ vu skipp in cpu dialog too (set it to normal or limit).
