Kingdom Hearts 2 vs KH2: Final Mix - Performance?

So I've heard numerous times that one of the benefits of getting the FM version is that it has some minor graphical enhancements. Does that mean it might perform worse than the vanilla version of KH2? Or am I likely to get same performance with both on a mid-end PC?
