Kingdom Hearts - Choppy Sound
#1
So after spending forever trying to fix random crashes for Kingdom Hearts, I seem to have managed it. Now, however, I'm having sound issues. I was not having sound issues before, it's new, and it happens even on the title screen.

When I change SPU2 to SPU2-X, it is completely silent. No sound at all. This didn't use to happen. When I change it to ZeroSPU2, it has sound, but it's the choppy problem I just mentioned. I believe the only changes I've made to the default settings is changing that sound bios and turning off speedhacks. I've tried turning speedhacks back on, but it didn't help the sound.

The sound choppiness also seems to have no correspondence to game slowdown. It's been running very consistently between 59 to 60 FPS. I've also beaten Persona 3, Persona 4, and ICO on the emulator, so I do not believe my computer is the issue. Especially considering the sound used to be perfectly fine.

I am using 1.2.1, I was using an older version before and still no sound issues.

Use SPU2-X and set synchronising mode to Async Mix. If that doesn't work please post the emulog.txt (you'll find it in mydocsx\pcsx2\logs or in pcsx2 root folder\logs.

Also can you upload a screenshot of your Plugin settings.

It can be related to portaudio... Some people had problems using the new default in SPU2-X

I tried changing it to async, no effect. Still no sound.
