Kingdom Hearts Gummi Ship Black Screen

Issue: On World Select screen I can select a world to travel to in the Gummi Ship. Then I click X to fly to the next world but the screen turns black. The music keeps playing but nothing else happens.


I've seen others post about this online but the only solution others have offered was to switch all plugin settings back to default. I've tried several times and it hasn't resolved the issue yet.

Any ideas?

never had this issue. probably a save state bug, try loading from memory card as blyss said Wink

No dice.
I'm reading that most people have never experienced this issue before.
And then there are some who have, and I have never found an appropriate resolution yet.

Final Fantasy X works like a charm with these settings.
But Kingdom Hearts is giving me trouble with the Gummi Ship (the black screen issue)
And Devil May Cry - I get a similar black screen but without any music, following a brief introduction from a pretty blond haired woman who stabs a bartender, the son of tthe legendary Sparda. Then it seems to freeze on a black screen.

Below is the new emulog from Kingdom Hearts, after I used the Memory Card instead of the savestate.
HOWEVER, I initially loaded from the savestate to be able to save to the memory card. Then I restarted, and loaded straight from the memory card. I wonder if that affected it?

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
