Just to make it absolutely clear:
You tried to run the game from the original disk without that the language patch was applied?
You have not just burned your patched version to a disk and tried that?
When you boot you get funny signs called Japanese writing system?
You didn't load savestates after you started the original disk but used the built-in save function?
You disabled all cheats?
You still get TLB miss?
Then I would say there is nothing you can do.
