Kingdom Hearts II Triangle Problem

Hi everyone, before we started i apologize for my english..   
I have a problem with the button "triangle"  in KHII, it's used to talk with the NPC and open menu but when i want open the menu it doesn't works, instead when i talk with the NPC it works.. it's seems that the string "menu" doesn't exist.. someone with my same problem? help me

This bug sounds familiar.
Does any dialog work or are all broken?
Please post the full emulog after you observed the problem.

All the dialogs ever works, but when i want to open the menu with the triangle, it never works
Sorry what is the emulog? Where i can find it? So i can post it..

What menu? I haven't played the game in a while, but doesn't the menu open with start?

can you please post your emulog.txt ?
you'll find it in my documents\pcsx2\logs or in pcsx2 main dir\logs

The menu is opened by pressing Start, you just haven't progressed enough.
