Kingdom hearts 2 issues

Hey guys I'm stuck in agrabah on the second visit because I can't seem to fly the magic carpet up or down in the part where you have to fight jafars shadow thing and then activate the switches. I had a similar issue in atlantica where i couldn't swim up or down but I could move left and right. I've tried just about everything in game I could think of with changing my controls and what not but it all didn't work. It says to hold down the L2 button to fly up or down but that just goes through my command menu and if I don't hold it down I just move the camera arround. I really would like some help please this is pissing me off because now I can't beat the game unless I get this to work so someone can you try and help me?

update your pcsx2 to r5766

re-config it and start using lilypad as the controller plug-in for better results.

I use my ps3 controller for a controller and if i do tht will i lose my save?

not as long as you transfer your memcard files.
did you use scarlet driver to make your DS3 controller work ?

I used motion joy and how do i transfer memcard files?
I'm real new to all this stuff i just youtubed how to do it lol had no clue what i was actually doing..

1st, uninstall motionincrap software
2nd, read this

about the memcards : just copy/paste the .ps2 files located in the memcard folder from one pcsx2 installation to another

does it work with windows 8 i only see the 360 drivers for 7

no idea since I never used Win 8. AFAIK, most win 7 drivers are compatible with win 8 though...
