Kings Field 4 Analog dead zone
#1
Hi guys, I love from software games. I played KF 1(2JP),2(3JP), & shadow tower (US) when they came out. I bought my ps3 just for demons souls and continued with the rest of the series. recently I found out there were a few titles I missed so I sought them out I just finished up shadow tower abyss(JP) and KF1 (JP) (diff emu). I just started up KF4 and I seem to have a dead zone in the upper left portion of my joy stick that is making me cringe with the already horrible controls. I tried to make the controls like kf1 but with the double activation required to pick up an item that was a no go anyway I was hoping you guys might be able to help me fix the issue. Thanks.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here

then, extract the bios from any of the ones you own but the one you're using now.
and load it into pcsx2

Think it might be the bios? Thanks for the help. I can not do it at this moment people are sleeping and I would have to pull them out of a pile of stuff. I will give it a go when the sun comes up and post back my findings.

Solved! I applied the new bios but it didn't fix it then I started messing with the controls which I had also done before to no avail, but this time it worked. I am not sure exactly how it works, but here is what I did should anyone else have this issue. I went to config/controller/pad1/analog left clicked the right side of the sensitivity bar 3 times and put dead space to 0. It must have taken over because when I checked the settings after all directions were set to 1.333 with some dead space. What ever the case time to dive into some dungeons thanks for your time and assistance Jesalvein.
