Dear PCSX2 Users,
Koei expansion games have an option to load data from the original title. For instance, if you have Dynasty Warriors 4 Xtreme Legends, there is an in-game option to load the data from the original Dynasty Warriors 4 Disc. However using PCSX2, I cannot seem to get it working. Currently I'm trying to get this working with Dynasty Warriors 3. When the game asks for the original Dynasty Warriors 3 disc and I load it in any way, it reports "This disc is not Dynasty Warriors 3". I have tried several things, but I can't get it to work.
I have looked around on these forums, and more people seem to have the same problem. However many of these post are pretty old. So I was wondering if someone found a fix for this by now. If anyone has any idea on how I'd be able to fix this I would certainly like to know.
Thanks in advance.

I would do it on my console and transfer the save with MYMC, the answer to many problems

.
But you need a Codebreaker or Action Replay MAX to do that...

Is this just with Koei Games or all games that offer to import data?

I believe its just all Koei. I recently beat Xenosaga 2 and was able to import my clear save data from it to the 3rd one.
