LAN multiplayer between PCSX2 and PS2 Console?

Hi,

I did search for this but couldn't find an answer. Im wanting to know if it's possible to play LAN multiplayer in a game such as Gran Turismo 4 just for instance between PCSX2 and a PS2 Console?

Most games work fine in LAN multiplayer mode between pcsx2 and real ps2. GT4 also works but sometimes it goes out of sync.

Ah, fantastic. Is it any of the latest versions or do I have to use a specific version?

Any version should be fine, assuming you aren't going truly online (such as main game server or Xlink Kai). That requires the special Dev9 plugin (use the forum search bar) and a lot of patience to get it working.
