Lag fixes, or setting adjustments.

Okay, I would like to start off by saying that in no way am I expecting a complete fix to my general lag with the PCSX2 Emulator.
I realize my computer isn't very up to par, however I would still like to know what can I do to HELP my system that I'm running the games I love on.
I have searched the forums and the internet for optimal settings although everyone runs a different system, thus settings that optimize theirs may not do so for mine.

Games I've attempted to play   (ISOs):

Kingdom Hearts: Re-Chain of Memories
Kingdom Hearts 2
Lego Star Wars: The Video Game
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
Tony Hawk's Underground
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Jak 3

-----------

I tinkered with settings quite a bit but I still struggle with extreme to moderate lag during game play and horrible lag for cut scenes of each game.

Any suggestions?

- And if I just overall need a better system build what would you suggest as the cheapest necessities for playing this emulator at a decent or better quality.

Thank you for your time.

Could you show us your current settings please?

Your best option however is to overclock that cpu, the closer you can get to about 3.4Ghz the better.

All settings are default currently (or at Reccomended), except for "speedhacks"; my EE Cyclerate is -1 my VU Cycle Stealing is at 1

You could try the MTVU speedhack, sometimes it helps dual core cpu's. Your best bet is really overclocking the cpu though

if that was E8400 which equal to my 920 STP I would say that game would be doable if you dont push the scaling ,but that might not be enough unless you OC, which shouldnt be done less you know what your doing.
