Left Analog Stick is L2

So I started playing Devil May Cry (first game) and when I want to go left with my left analog stick the game/emulator thinks that I clicked L2 and it opens a map for me and cause of that I need to use my right analog stick if I want to go left anyone knows why and how 


I'm using LilyPad 0.12.1
