No no. The producers don't really care much, because they are getting paid either way.
So. Really. It's the publishers that give a damn.
They are the ones who make copies and sell the software.
So if some "pirate" comes along and pirate the software, the publishers make less money.
And then you get that Ubisoft DRM thing and Microsoft's anti-piracy update thing.
See, even when the publisher makes less money, the programmers are still getting paid the same amount.
So they don't really care much. As long as they have work and are getting paid, they're happy.
