Limiting speed with speedhacks on?
#11
Intel Core  i3-5005U CPU @ 2.00GHz
4GB Ram
64 bit
Intel HD Graphics 5500 video card
pcsx2 1.4.0

I was playing Legaia 2: Duel Saga. A PS2 game.

I only have the flag hack on at the moment, but all the others increase speed well over 100% as well, even higher if I have more than one on.

This is quite suspicious. I don't have any ideas at the moment, perhaps someone else will lol. Does this happen in other games too or only this one?

You could've been pretty absolutely sure if you'd noticed he's using PCSX2 v1.4.0(first screenshot). Tongue2

@octorokstampede: Please try the latest git build to see if the issue persists: http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/

Ah yes,now I remember...I was sure I've seen that screen somewhere but I wasn't sure where.
I just tried the game but I can't think of a way to reproduce the same effect.

@Flatout - I did notice that. Didn't click in my brain. Move along. Nothing to see here except a sleep deprived Blyss.

I'm a bit unfamiliar with gits. Where do I extract this?

Anywhere you want, it's a portable version.

Git builds are portable versions of pcsx2 so you can extract it anywhere but just for the test(to see if the problem still exist or not),extract it on your desktop.

The git seems to run things normally... Wonder what the problem could be.

Very unsure but there is no reason not to use the GIT really if it solves your problem. A lot of things have been fixed even since 1.4.0. The GIT will be around 5% more demanding on your hardware due to missing some optimizations that take a lot of time and are only done for releases but other than that it will be fine.
