Deformed polygones that can cover the whole screen. Usually caused by bad emulation timing, missing or wrong opcodes,
rounding errors, maths involving infinity and NaN (not a number), etc etc.
I'm sure you've seen it on some games, although they've been reduced quite a lot nowadays Wink
