Lost save data 1.6

After updating to 1.6, I moved my memory card folders to the new version but none of my save data is in game. This goes for save states as well, but that's understandable with a new stable version. I had previously updated a few dev builds and never had an issue with my actual memory cards, so I'm wondering what I could have done wrong.

No problems here.
Run pcsx2 and check in Config=>Memory Cards if pcsx2 is loading the cards from the correct location and the correct cards are selected
