I am using Windows 7. I am unable to save settings for configuring. I configure all of the plug-ins and select the BIOS and test the controller and everything seems to work but as soon as I run the game, the settings don't seem to happen and I am unable to play the game. The game comes up but I cannot play it. As soon as I check the configuration, it is back to default. The memory cards are also not working.

Run the emulator as administrator. Rightclick>Run as Administrator.

Alternatively, you can also move your PCSX2 folder outside of program files and put it into something like my documents.
