That's what I'm currently planning.

If you can overclock it to 3.0 Ghz, that should be better

Think I'll be able to play games like KH2, FFX, Ratchet and Clank, ect with good playability.

FFX-2-> Yes except FMVs
R&C->no. (extremely demanding)
