If you are comfortable with overclocking and have a good CPU cooler, definitely consider it. The Q6600 is a fantastic overclocker(just look at my sig!).

yea, i dont want to overclock it right now because i have too much stuff on my computer and i wont get it to stress test properly.
i going to get a new HD soon then i can push it ;D. thats a nice OC you got going there btw, are you on air?

Yeah, I've got a real nice CPU cooler from Arctic Cooling.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6835186134 That one, in fact. I don't get higher than 60 some degrees on full load, and that's only because my side fan died on me. Once I get a new one of those, I imagine my temps will drop even more.
