That's true, I hadn't really tested Disgaea on anything other than a 2.66Ghz+ Processor.
Still, .Hack GU (which you have beaten) (god I love the .Hack games so) at the beginning when you're playing as Haseo Lv.1, there is slowdown walking across the bridge. Well, there WAS slowdown when my CPU was 3.2GHz, I increased it to 3.55GHz and there is virtually none. There are spikes when I go around corners and there's a huge scene, but it's quite good.
Could you perhaps post the config you used for GU?
